Under an Unforgiving Sky

"How beautifully considerate you are." She smiled and took his hand. He pulled her up out of the car and onto the gravel parkway at the top of the hill, overlooking the city. On most other nights, the sounds of sirens would fill the air, as crime in the small town as of lately had been on the rise. They both smiled loving smiles at each other, not aware that the town below remained silent for once. One could see the lights below, and everything looked eerily normal. But they did not pay attention.
He pulled her towards the edge, then picked her up and twirled her in his arms. She laughed happily, her blond hair flying back

Nocturnal NightmareTony awoke slowly, sleep hanging in his eyes like an ill-fated dream. At first he wasn't sure as to what had caused such an abrupt awakening, but suddenly he felt it; that primal, ancestral instict that prey feels whenever the predator's eyes are targeted upon it. Tony slowly raised his head and looked about his room, almost praying to find normality. The room looked clear, but then he saw something that made his gut feeling even stronger: his door, which normally stayed closed during the night, was cracked open...and slowly shutting. So, I read some comments on my story "The Odd J.W.". And made a note under the "artists' comments" thing.

That's all I have to say. Anyone that reads any of my fiction and doesn't take it with a grain of salt is an idiot. I have no intention of offending people, but seriously, take that P.C. line and push it away, 'cause I've no use for it.
